I'm a Cambridge PhD graduate with extensive expertise in admissions preparation for Oxbridge and the Russell Group: I previously worked as an admissions interviewer at the University of Cambridge, then as Head of Tuition at a small applications-focused tutoring agency. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the admissions process and interview criteria at Oxbridge for the humanities in general and for languages in particular. Alongside admissions preparation support and personal statement guidance, I have extensive experience tutoring languages and literature at all levels. From ESL — be it for young beginners or advanced adult learners — to Master's-level philosophy seminars and lectures for undergraduates, I have taught most age groups and ability levels in English (literature and language), French and German.
Why I tutor: Because I enjoy working directly with students and using my knowledge to support them on their academic journey: applying to Oxbridge can be confusing, complex and stressful for students, so I find it deeply satisfying to demystify this for them.
