King's College London (KCL), founded in 1829 by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington, is one of England's oldest universities and a founding member of the University of London. It has been at the forefront of medical research and education for nearly two centuries - the discovery of DNA structure and the development of the modern vaccine both have roots at King's.
